It is our fundamental belief that prospective parents should see our working day in order to assess whether our school is best for their child. We ask that parents contact the School Office to make an appointment for a tour before your child embarks on the admissions process.

Applying for your place at Vita et Pax Preparatory School:
Step 1: Book a Private Tour
We welcome and invite all prospective families to book a private tour with a member of our Senior Leadership Team by contacting our school office. Our tours are a great opportunity to see the school in action, meet our teaching team and speak with our current pupils.

Step 2: Submit an Application & Complete a Registration Form
Please register your interest using our Registration Form. We are currently accepting applications.
A registration fee of £75.00 can be paid via bank transfer or cheque. A member of the Admissions Team will contact you within 48 hours of receiving your application to confirm completion.
Step 3: Attend a Taster Session
Further to your application, we will invite your child to attend an in-class taster session. The session is a great opportunity for your child to experience what our school has to offer.
Please bring you child’s latest school report to the taster session.
Step 4: Attend an Interview with a Governor and Head/Senior member of Staff
At our school we value the quality of education and the overall experience we provide to our students. We believe that a strong and supportive school community plays a vital role in this endeavour. As such, we have a tradition of conducting interviews with potential families seeking to join our school.
The interview process is not just a formality but an important opportunity for us to get to know the families who wish to become a part of our school community. It allows us to understand the unique needs, aspirations and values of each family. We also want to ensure that our school’s educational approach aligns with the expectations and goals of our prospective students and their families.
Additionally, the interview provides a platform for families to learn more about our school, our educational philosophy and our commitment to fostering a nurturing and enriching learning environment. It allows you to ask questions, clarify doubts and gain insights how your child’s educational journey will unfold at our school.
Step 5: Receive an Offer
We will provide you with the outcome of your application and send offers within one week of your child’s taster session.
Details on how to accept your place will be provided along with the Offer Letter and Our Terms.
*Please note: We accept childcare vouchers and the government funded 15 and 30 hours of free childcare.
International Students
A welcoming international community
Vita et Pax is an international community and we welcome children from around the world. Overseas applicants are required to go through the same assessment process as those candidates who are resident in the UK. Entrance interviews can also be conducted online.
