Vita et Pax Year 6 Ski Trip to Italy: A Week of Adventure and Fun
On Saturday, 15th March, the Year 6 students from Vita et Pax Prep School embarked on a memorable residential trip to Italy, where they enjoyed a week full of excitement, adventure, and new experiences. The destination was the picturesque Passo Tonale, a beautiful ski resort nestled in the Italian Alps. The children were eager to embrace the challenge of skiing while also enjoying the unique charm of the resort’s stunning snowy landscapes.
Upon arrival, the group checked into the cozy and welcoming Dolomiti Hotel, which provided the perfect base for their ski adventures. Located just across the road from the nursery ski slopes and the chair lifts, it couldn’t have been more convenient for the students to step straight into their lessons and begin their skiing journey. The hotel’s warm atmosphere and comfortable accommodations made it a great place to unwind after a busy day on the slopes.
Throughout the week, the children participated in ski lessons tailored to their abilities. From beginners to those with a bit of experience, everyone learned something new and made significant progress in their skills. In addition to skiing, the students had the chance to try out other fun winter activities such as sledging, where they raced down the hills in high spirits. It was a week of playing in the snow, building snowmen, and exploring the winter wonderland that surrounded them.
