Enfield Dance Festival at Millfield Theatre: A Fantastic Performance by Vita et Pax Preparatory School
Yesterday, the talented Year 5 and 6 students from Vita et Pax Preparatory School in North London took the stage at the Enfield Dance Festival at Millfield Theatre. The children showcased their exceptional dance skills in a performance inspired by the classic musical Bugsy Malone. Dressed to impress in pinstripe suits and dapper dresses, the children brought the spirit of the era to life, and their hard work, dedication, and passion were evident in every move they made.
The choreography, meticulously prepared by Mrs. Destro, truly captured the essence of Bugsy Malone. Mrs. Destro’s creative direction and attention to detail ensured that every step was executed perfectly, and the children’s energy and enthusiasm were contagious. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Miss Von for her support and guidance throughout the preparation process, and for being there to cheer on the students at the event.
The Enfield Dance Festival is always a highlight in the school calendar, and this year was no exception. It was a wonderful opportunity for the children to showcase their talent, and the support from parents was heartwarming. A huge thank you goes out to all the parents who attended the event to cheer on the students. Your encouragement played a crucial role in making the day even more memorable.
We would also like to thank the Enfield PE team for organising the event and providing a platform for local schools to come together and celebrate the joy of dance. The Enfield Dance Festival continues to be an incredible experience for our students, fostering teamwork, confidence, and creativity.
At Vita et Pax Preparatory School, we are incredibly proud of the children’s achievements and are excited to see what they will accomplish next. Well done to everyone involved in this unforgettable performance!
