An Exciting Day of Hockey with Southgate Hockey Club at Vita et Pax Prep School
We are delighted to share the exciting experience our Year 3, 4, 5, and 6 students at Vita et Pax Prep, an independent school in Enfield, North London, had today.
Southgate Hockey Club generously provided a special coaching session, which gave our pupils an afternoon full of fun, fitness, and skill development. It was an unforgettable experience that truly brought out the best in our students, combining physical activity, teamwork, and the joy of learning a new sport.
During the session, our students focused on developing key hockey skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. The Southgate Hockey Club coach, who brought a wealth of experience and knowledge, was incredibly supportive and engaging. He ensured that every child was actively involved, giving them the confidence to practice their techniques and explore new abilities. It was inspiring to watch our pupils work together, supporting each other and refining their skills with each passing minute. The energy on the field was palpable, and the students’ enthusiasm was infectious.
In addition to honing their technical skills, the session highlighted the importance of teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship. The children learned how to communicate effectively on the field, support one another during drills, and celebrate each other’s successes, all while having a great time.
