Vita et Pax Annual Awards Evening Celebrates Talent and Resilience
The Vita et Pax Annual Awards Evening was a heartwarming celebration of our students’ exceptional talents and achievements. The event, attended by teachers, governors, parents, and students, showcased the vibrant and diverse abilities of our school community.
The evening’s performances were a testament to the students’ hard work and dedication. The audience was treated to enchanting solo singing, captivating piano recitals, and a variety of cultural dances, including Irish, Hindu, and Greek. Each performance highlighted the rich cultural heritage and artistic talents of our children, bringing the audience to its feet in applause.
Classes 3-5 were recognized in three main categories: Maths, English, and Sports. These awards were not only a recognition of academic and athletic excellence but also celebrated the students’ determination and resilience. Teachers carefully selected the recipients, acknowledging those who demonstrated exceptional effort and perseverance throughout the year.
Class 6 students received special awards, with the highlight being the Kindness Award and the prestigious Headteacher’s Cup. These awards underscore the importance of character and community spirit, reflecting the values that Vita et Pax holds dear.
Our guest speaker, Onyinye Ukodoporo, delivered an inspiring speech about her personal journey with dyslexia. She shared how she overcame challenges and never let her condition define her potential. Her story resonated deeply with the audience, emphasizing the power of resilience and determination.
Dr. Sophie, an inspirational parent, also took the stage to share her experiences and express her love for Vita et Pax. Her heartfelt words underscored the supportive and nurturing environment that the school provides for both students and their families.
