Two of our year 5 students travelled to Orlando, Florida in U.S.A to participate in a gymnastics competition. Both girls took part in a floor routine, vault, bars and beam. The competition was fierce with 4o competitors in both age groups.
Both children did incredibly well coming 8th and 13th overall and both coming 5th in the bars in their respective age groups.
“We had a fantastic experience and would love to be a part of it again as we were extremely proud of our scores and immensely pleased for making this outstanding achievement. Both of us earned gold medals through hard work for 6 or sometimes8 hours a week.
We would like to say a special thank you to our coach, our family and our teammates for supporting us throughout this competition.”
