Mrs Sandra Fennessy

Sandra qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and practiced commercial litigation in Simmons & Simmons, a City law firm, for 10 years.  She has two daughters, both of whom joined Vita et Pax in the Nursery class and continued through the school and onto their secondary school choices. Sandra values and wishes to support the school's ecumenical ethos, which she believes provides a supportive, nurturing and stimulating environment for the school's pupils.

Mr Christopher Howell, MBE

Christopher was a registered architect (RIBA) and Town Planner (MRTP) and the Director of Planning Policy in the City of London before his retirement.
He has been on the Council of Management for 20 years and is the Company Secretary. During the time that his children attended the school, he was Chair of the Parents’ Association for 3 years.

Christopher’s role as a governor is to support the ethos of the Sisters’ foundation of a Catholic school with an ecumenical approach to all Christian denominations and other faiths, whilst embodying its principles in the development of the curriculum, the fostering of community care, hospitality and self-respect.

Mrs Seema Mehta

After a varied career in the City, Seema gained a Law Degree in 2008.  She feels privileged to have been appointed a Governor of Vita et Pax in 2010, a school both her children attended and from which they acquired an excellent education as a springboard for future success.

She is involved in various charity works and hopes to contribute to the worthy endeavours of the Committee of Management and the further development of the school.

Ms Helena Nicolaou

Helena's daughter joined Vita et Pax School Nursery Class in 2001, and passed happily through school.                                                                                 Ms Helena Nicolaou

Helena runs her own Dental PR and Marketing Consultancy, Graffo Script Ltd, which she set up in 1998. This involves working closely with dental manufacturing and dental retail companies to maximise their sales by advising on marketing campaigns. The writing and submission of technical articles on behalf of dental surgeons and dental technicians together with press releases is a major part of the business. Helena has run a variety of courses and seminars for dentists in the UK.  Drawing on her role as marketeer, she has helped to promote the school within the local community.

Helena was invited to join the Governing Body of Vita et Pax in early 2007.  She feels that it is a great honour to be involved with such a thriving and forward thinking school.

Simon Payne

Simon was a pupil at Vita et Pax from September 1988 to July 1995 and very much enjoyed his time at the School. He is very grateful for the outstanding education he received at Vita et Pax and volunteered to join the governing body to support the School’s continued development. Simon is currently in his eighth year as a secondary school teacher in West London and has been Head of the PSHCEE department for the last three years. He regularly commutes to North London to pursue his other passion, Musical Direction, with local groups including Acorn Theatre Company and Centre Stage School of Performing Arts. Simon is excited to have the opportunity to help shape the future direction of Vita et Pax School and looks forward to meeting many staff, parents and students at functions throughout the year.
